JJ DOOM get the royal treatment with this new video from street artist Steve ‘ESPO’ Powers.

Still exiled in London, mysterious rapper DOOM took advantage of his location in this fresh video for album cut ‘Bookhead’, trawling around a local corner shop (or bodega to our US readers) and ending up in a used book store. The track was chopped from 2012 collaborative album with producer Jneiro Jarel Key To The Kuffs, but it’s the video that wins out here, especially when DOOM hijacks the bodega’s fisheye mirror and uses it as a replacement mask. We can only imagine how difficult that was for the camera crew.

FACT recently had Oli Marlow rustle up a guide to The Essential… MF DOOM, and if you’re wondering about the status of the long delayed Madvillainy 2 (DOOM’s collaboration with LA beatmaker Madlib), you might be disheartened to read that it “probably won’t happen”.
