Manchester’s Star Slinger – he of shimmering Kendrick Lamar and Drake bootlegs – has had his way with 2012’s sultriest lovers jam.

In Star Slinger’s hands, Miguel‘s ‘Adorn’ becomes, of all things, a swung piano house number. The intimacy and subtlety of the original – the track’s biggest strengths, truth told – have been entirely discarded, but, somehow, the remix still gets the old pleasure receptors flaring.

Miguel has just announced a major Stateside tour alongside Drake and Future (where, we imagine, there’ll be absolutely no stage acrobatics). Star Slinger, meanwhile, will play a glut of US dates in July; see below for the full list. [via The Fader]
