Cool kids reunited.

Midwest rap duo The Cool Kids may have called it quits late last year, but Chuck Inglish and Sir Michael Rocks couldn’t stay away from each other long – here’s Sir Michael dropping in on ‘Swervin”, the low-slung first track from Inglish’s debut solo album, Convertibles.

Due out this autumn, the LP is set to feature a mixed rollcall of guests, including OutKast’s Big Boi and Black Hippy crew member Ab-Soul, plus Mac Miller, Asher Roth and electrofunk duo Chromeo.

Back in May, Inglish released the Droptops EP, a stop-gap mixtape that FACT praised for nailing the vibe of Too $hort’s Born To Mack “without sounding like it’s trying to start a conversation about how disappointing the current generation of rappers are.”
