Pop songstress Charli XCX might still be mid-way through touring her debut album proper True Romance, but it looks like she’s on to the next one already.

‘Superlove’ is the first cut from her as-yet-untitled next album, and it sounds as if she’s pushing the dial up to eleven on the pop front. Sugary and decidedly glossier than her previous run might suggest, the track is saved by Charli’s own unmistakable vocal turn, and the vivid, disco-infused video doesn’t hurt either. We’re wondering whether there’s an intentional Daft Punk reference there.
