West Coast producer and former FACT mixer Shlohmo’s no stranger to edits – last year, in fact, he released well-received takes on Drake’s ‘Marvin’s Room’ and Burial’s ‘Shell of Light’. Last week, The Weeknd linked to a live video of Shlohmo’s edit of Drake & The Weeknd’s ‘Crew Love’, a highlight from last year’s Drake sophomore album Take Care, on his Tumblr page, requesting a studio version. Shlohmo has since put one online.
