Wanda Group’s Cleaners might have vanished under the radar since its March release, but it’s well worth tracking down.

The LP, released as part of Belgian label Vlek’s series of album giveaways, is a collection of obtuse beats equally indebted to L.A. hip-hop and micro-house. It’s a demure listen, but the highlights (‘B Museum’, ‘T Vision’) are surprisingly strong. As Juno Plus report, the producer has now cooked up a remix of fellow Vlek signing Sagat.

‘ESC’, taken from Sagat’s Few Mysteries Solved In A Year Of Contact, was a driving dancefloor-orientated exercise that Warp would have been all over 17 years ago. The ‘Tourism Removal Version’ remix is a crackly, burbly affair – fans of Actress’ R.I.P and Dr. Strangelove will find plenty to admire. Jangling marimba tones mingle with artificial bleeps and trills, and the whole thing is swathed in a glitchy fug.
