The Butterz-affiliate bridges the grime-garage divide on the first cut from his upcoming album for Rinse.

As far as Royal-T tunes go, ‘Work Your Body’ is somewhere between his sacchrine garage remix of Cheryl Cole’s ‘Call My Name’ and his instrumental grime burner ‘Orangeade.’ The diva admonitions to ‘work your body’ and the slinky breakbeat give way to wobbly sawtooth synths and Roska’s toasting.

We expect more in the same vein on Rinse Presents: Royal-T, due on September 3. In the meantime, take this opportunity to revisit Royal-T’s FACT mix.
