Watch the video for Nicki Minaj’s ‘I Am Your Leader,’ featuring Rick Ross and Cam’ron

Nicki Minaj releases a video for the Pink Friday standout (i.e. there’s no trance beat).

Director Colin Tilley channels Tim Burton circa-Pee-wee’s Big Adventure for this twisted playhouse of a video. Rick Ross plays Goldfinger on his relatively-subdued verse, and Cam’Ron is as vital as ever, especially his nimble double-time. Also, it’s great to see Killa Cam in a video by the only person in hip-hop who adores pink more than he does.

‘I Am Your Leader’ comes as Minaj is rumored to be joining American Idol. We’ll use this opportunity to re-share this excellent, hook-free mix of the rapper at her most fierce.
