Watch the video for Kelly Rowland’s ‘Ice’, featuring Lil Wayne (in voice only)
The less memorable follow-up to the pair’s massive ‘Motivation’ gets a slinky video.
Rowland continues to mine the post-Destiny’s Child territory that is too racy for Beyoncé. While Rowland gyrating her way through the clip and spending time with a shirtless paramour are nothing novel, those disembodied, crystalline lips are an interesting visual.
Lil Wayne doesn’t appear in the video, and considering his lazy, phoned-in verse, it’s probably for the best. Rowland recently replaced Little Dragon’s Yukimi Nagano on Big Boi’s ‘Mama Told Me’.
