As we reported earlier this week, Ex-Arab Strap member Aidan Moffat has announced his return to the L. Pierre moniker.

You can now stream The Island Come True in full, below. As usual with L. Pierre output, it sees Moffat experiment with more abstract, hypnotic constructions – in this case, crackly, mournful orchestral textures which something of a hauntological twist to them – appropriately enough, an accompanying quote from Moffat states that “L. Pierre died in 2007. This record was made by his ghost as channelled through me over the course of last year. Although he did not write the album, he is very much the author.”
