Stream the new EP from New Zealand duo Chaos in the CBD, featuring remixes from Ryan Hemsworth, Mak & Pasteman

The brotherly duo prepare an EP of slinky, late night house for Youngunz.

Chaos in the CBD are Auckland brothers Ben & Louis Helliker-Hales. The pair have released a few EPs of wide-ranging house music, with nods to tropical bass and underground club styles; they’ve also remixed contemporaries Canblaster, French Fries, Cedaa, and Grown Folk.

Next month, the duo will release Never Ending, which includes three original cuts: the vocal garage-house groove ‘Never Ending’, the Aretha Franklin-sampling ‘Pale Moonlight’, and ‘So Proud’, which adds gently massaged sub-bass to Chaos in the CBD’s smoothed-out house formula.

The EP is due out on December 17 via Parisian label/stable Youngunz. It is rounded out by four remixes: ‘Never Ending’ by Ryan Hemsworth and The Phantom, and ‘Pale Moonlight’ by Mak & Pasteman and Doctor Jeep. Stream the EP below, which is followed by the cover art.
