In stark contrast to the retro house chic of previously leaked lead track ‘As Far As I Know‘, ‘Aeroplane Mode’ finds Andre Ferreira taking a trip into a cathode-ray blanched world of 80s funk and soul. With swinging rhythm-box beats and those genre-staple vocal moans and groans this is a distinct nod to a genre that’s much maligned these days, and to our ears sounds perfectly in place with the 100% Silk aesthetic.
