Chi-town vet Traxman raids the more vintage end of his record collection on a must-hear new mix.

The footwork veteran had a storming 2012, knocking out the brilliant Da Mind Of Traxman LP, dropping the cracking/crackling Heat, and issuing the follow-up Return Of The Westside Boogie EP. Oh, and delivering a sterling FACT mix to boot.

With a new full-length for Lit City Trax in the works, Traxman has upped the ‘Jukin That Shit Vol. 9’ mix to his Soundcloud. The emphasis is very much on vintage soul and dusty boogie edits, which makes a neat and noticeable change from his usual pan-generic flights of fancy. Highlight? A wonderfully scrambled take on disco touchstone ‘I Feel Love’.
