A tantalizing taste of Kim Gordon and Bill Nace‘s Body/Head.

Snipped from the duo’s forthcoming album Coming Apart, ‘Actress’ is a devastating example of just how well Gordon and Nace’s very particular sounds gel. Gordon’s pained screams are encased in a cocoon of Nace’s screaming, droning electric guitar and if you didn’t know any better, you could mistake the track for an unreleased early Sonic Youth gem.

Needless to say, it makes us very eager to hear the whole album, which is due to drop September 10 via Matador. [via The Fader]
