Melé previews his Melé Vanelé Vol. II mixtape with the rattling ‘Wha’

‘Stern’, ‘austere’, ‘cerebral’ – all words that have absolutely no place in a post about Scouse beatmaker Melé.

Plucked from the forthcoming sequel to 2012 mixtape Melé Vanelé, ‘Wha’ is a springy head-snapper, well-suited to the seasoned TNGHT enthusiast. Heavy bass, trap rattle and goofball synth leads are all in attendance.

The Mixpak and Grizzly veteran will drop the Sega-inspired Melé Vanelé Vol. 2 on September 30th. You can listen to his fantastically indiscriminate FACT mix, recorded when he was a sprightly 18, here. (Yes, Daniel Bedingfield’s on there) [via Abeano]
