Chief Keef drops latest mixtape, Almighty So

The divisive Chicago rapper releases the long-delayed mixtape.

Most recently slated for a September 12 release, Keef’s Almighty So (formerly Almighty Sosa) surfaced late last night. The 15-track effort is mostly a solo affair, with Keef joined by GBE associates Tadoe and Cdai on just three tracks; production info is not yet available.

Like August’s Bang Pt. 2, Almighty So continues to chart Keef’s development from drill poster-boy to Chicago Brick Squad representative. Machine-gunned street rap like ‘Sucka’ and ‘Hunchoz’ sit next to Autotuned anthems like ‘Salty’ as Keef increasingly sounds like new mentor Gucci Mane. Missing is early leak ‘Round Da Rosey’; perhaps that track is being saved for Keef’s collaborative album with trap hitmaker Zaytoven.
