Inga Copeland, Demdike Stare, Huerco S and more sign up for Unsound New York

The US cousin of the long-running Polish experimental music festival returns.

In 2013, Unsound did not host a festival in New York, instead focusing on its London endeavors. This year, it will return to New York for the fourth time with the type of thoughtful, experimental programming we’ve come to expect from the Polish festival.

The artists featured include the elusive copeland (fka Hype Williams member Inga Copeland), techno industrialists Demdike Stare (who will be performing a live A/V show at Brooklyn’s First Unitarian Church), breakout producer Huerco S, Andy Mellwig‘s dub techno project Porter Ricks and the prolific Vladislav Delay.

The festival will take place from Wednesday, April 2 through Sunday, April 6 at venues in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The full list of participants is below. For more information, head to Unsound’s website.
