The next Antony and the Johnsons album is called Swanlights, and will be released this October.

The fourth Antony Hegarty album to date, it will drop on CD and vinyl in Europe and the UK on October 4, and via Secretly Canadian on October 5 in the US.

Swanlights will also have a special edition simultaneously released through Abrams Image, which will feature the CD inside a 144 page art book, containing paintings, collages, photography and writing by Hegarty.

A transgender Brit who spent much of his upbringing in San Francisco and New York, where ne now lives, Hegarty’s music was originally released by David Tibet of Current 93, but he broke through to the mainstream with his second album, the Mercury Music Prize winning I Am a Bird Now.
