Drexciya affiliate DJ Stingray has teamed up with DJ Haus (Unknown to the Unknown/Hot City) for a new 12″ single.

Remarkably, for someone who’s built a reputation on playing hard and fast, ‘The Sadist Pt. 1’ is one of Stingray’s hardest and fastest tracks to date: clocking in at a tempo close to 160bpm, with machine-gun hi-hats and pounding, Triton-style bass hits, it’s somewhere between grime and Detroit jit. Things slow down on the single’s B-side however, with a typically icy remix by Dopplereffekt and Drexciya’s chief scientist Heinrich Mueller.
