What connects London house upstarts Night Slugs to drone metal institution Earth?

Egyptrixx, that’s who. The Canadian producer, who released his debut album Bible Eyes through Night Slugs earlier this year, has covered ‘Old Black’, the opening track from Earth’s latest album, Angel of Darkness, Demons Of Light I. It’s being released as one half of a two-track 10″ EP on Less Music.

Woozy, restrained, and featuring ethereal vocal contributions from Ohbijou, it works rather well – listen in full via the Soundcloud player above. The 10″, with cover art by Seripop, will officially be released next week, but is available from some stores now.
