Set co-ordinates for Victoria Park – Lovebox is back.

This year sees the festival secure its largest (and, quite possibly, best) dance line-up to date. The biggest draw by a country mile is neo-soul legend D’Angelo, currently nudging back into the spotlight after a decade of inactivity. The inimitable Flying Lotus will be leaving his Captain Murphy cape behind to showcase his familiar hip-hop/dubstep/fusion jazz stew – he’s a consummate crowd pleaser, and a boon on any festival line-up.  Talking of crowd pleasers, SBTRKT will also be on DJ duty, showcasing the ear behind his neophyte-friendly 2-step and broken beat concoctions. Goldfrapp will also make a banner appearance, sitting at the top of the bill on the Sunday evening.

Azealia Banks will get her highest billing to date with a headline slot on Friday, with Plan B topping the bill on Saturday. The newly reconvened Jurassic 5 will bring the party jams (and, judging by their Coachella set, the giant vinyl) and Disclosure will return for the second year on the trot, albeit in a DJ capacity. Julio Bashmore and John Talabot will get hands aloft in very different ways, and Gold Panda, Purity Ring and Factory Floor will offer darker (but no less danceable) thrills. Further confirmed acts include: DJ Harvey, Jamie Jones, Derrick Carterb, Toddla T Sound, A-Trak, Frankie Knuckles, Redlight, Zebra Katz, Mykki Blanco and AlunaGeorge.

Lovebox will run from July 19-21. Tickets and further information are available here.
