Since hearing Kode 9’s stunning four (four plus? God knows) hour set at Plastic People last Sunday, we at FACT are well up for seeing more of our favourite dance music luminaries go long form on deck.

So we’re pretty psyched about the prospect of Detroit legend and Planet E boss Carl Craig playing for six hours at Always Fridays‘ second birthday celebration at London’s Egg Club on Friday, June 5.

It’ll actually be the first in a pair of events at the Egg that weekend – that’s right, Always Fridays will actually take place on Saturday too. Nice one. As well as Carl on Friday you’ve got trusty M_nus acolytes Gaiser, Konrad Black and Niederflur in the Basement; they’ll be joined by Antony DiFrancesco and Lost Soul residents. In the Loft there’s Ivan Escura, Oiram Gar and Paco Modinos. Then on Saturday 6 you’ve got Bloody Beetroots, Beni, Das Glow and other like-minded bass batterers in the Terrace; Brodinski, Matt Walsh, Solo and more in the Basement, and Tomb Crew, Hanna Hanra, Med Damon, Void Collective and more in the Loft.
