Opinion is still starkly divided in the FACT office over whether House of House‘s ‘Rushing To Paradise (Walking These Streets)’, released earlier this year on New York’s Whatever We Want label, is totally amazing or totally awful. That Darryl Pandy-style vocal is the point of contention, really. We all agree the track itself, sans warbling, is pretty damned good. Check the vid below and you’ll see what we mean.

Which is why we’re looking forward to, not dreading, the New York duo’s forthcoming remix of  ‘Bones’, the new single from A Mountain of One. AMOO were originally scheduled to release their debut album, Institute of Joy, next month, but have pushed it back to September 7. It finds them hooking up an unashamedly epic pop sound in collaboration with producers Danton Supple and Guy Massey (Starsailor, James Dean Bradfield, etc) and is a big step on for them. ‘Bones’ is one of its highlights, and should lend itself well to the House of House treatment.

The single’s out July 6. For more information, check myspace.com/amountainofone
