Soul Jazz will release Steppas’ Delight 2 on September 28, 2009.

The compilation, the follow-up to 2008’s Steppas Delight, aims to celebrate "dubstep present and future" and features some of the biggest tunes of the past 12 months alongside new and exclusive cuts.

Many of the stand-out tracks will be familiar to you: Brackles‘ galloping ‘Get A Job’, Joker & Ginz’s ‘Purple City’ and Pangaea’s ‘Router’ are all anthemic and worthy inclusions. Other interesting but less predictable are Martyn‘s remix of Shed’s ‘Another Wedged Chicken’, Dusk & Blackdown’s ‘Focus’ and, reprenting UK funky, Crazy Cousinz’s ‘Inflation’. New tracks include Gemmy’s ‘Grime Baby’ and Untold’s ‘You Didn’t Win The Holiday’.

With further contributions from the likes of Ramadanman & Appleblim, King Midas Sound and James Blake, this comp is handy and vivid snapshot of where dubstep is in 2009.
