Do you know Gentle Friendly? That’s okay, just read our New Talent piece on the South London pair from last year and get acquainted.

The latest news on the duo is that they have their debut album coming out on November 2. It’s called Ride Slow, and it comes out on London underground label Upset the Rhythm (High Places, No Age, Gay Against You). Expect vocals mixed low, and plenty of scratchy loops. It should be good.

You can catch Gentle Friendly at New Cross’s Nail the Cross festival this month, along with Hudson Mohawke, Kode 9 and Spaceape, Ikonika, Joy Orbison, Sbtrkt, Bok Bok, FACT DJs and more. And if you miss them there, you can always see them support No Age at the Scala, on October 19.
