Keen-eared London promoters We Fear Silence are taking over Saturdays at Cable in London – which is good news for us all.

Cable opened its doors last year, and with its generous capacity and top-notch soundsystem, it’s been a very welcome and timely addition to London’s club scene. With We Fear Silence now helming its weekly Saturday programme, world domination beckons.

Being chaps who know their onions, WFS have asked FACT to curate the line-up for their opening party, which actually takes place on a Friday, 4 June. We’ve secured the services of Digital Mystikz’s mighty Mala, who’ll be DJing in Room 1 with Fiedel (pictured above), resident DJ at Berlin’s Berghain and one half of cut-up rave supremos MMM, and bruk-house hero Altered Natives, with more major names still to be announced. In Room 2 we play host to the legend that is Seiji, plus Subeena, Girl Unit and Deep Teknologi, and of course more TBA. To say we’re excited about this night is an understatement. We Fear Silence’s Saturday sessions begin the following night, June 5, with a Modular night featuring Annie, Tensnake and more; and over the coming weeks Metalheadz, Swerve, Buzzin’ Fly, Big Dada, Balance and Chew The Fat bring in the likes of Goldie, Boy Better Know, Toddla T, Ben Watt, Fabio, Grooverider and Agoria for a diverse series of floor-filling events.
