A new collaboration between L.T.D. @ The Social and Lomography brings together cocktails and cameras.

Beginning earlier in October 2011, for three months only The Social is playing host to L.T.D., a “bar experiment” where the drinkers’ choices of drink are restricted to just one carefully chosen brand of each key spirit (gin, vodka, rum, whiskey, tequila, etc.) L.T.D. has now teamed up with Lomography (dedicated to the art of analogue photography) to present a free exhibition, in fact two, which are open to the public: Behind Bars (Oct-Nov) and Be Social (Dec).

For Be Social, Lomography are inviting submissions from aspiring photographers “to create the best analogue snaps of cocktail culture to adorn the walls of L.T.D @ The Social.” To assist any budding snappers, Masso and the Lomography team are hosting a series of workshops (3rd Monday every month from Oct-Dec) where members of the public can experiment with Lomography cameras, learn tricks of the trade, and (naturally) quaff cocktails.

Before then, members of the public can experience the magic and mayhem of the global shake-and-stir circuit by checking out Behind Bars (running 1st Oct-Dec 1), which documents cocktail maestro Dre Masso’s adventures in cocktail culture, through 20 years and 40 countries.
