Newcomer ‘212’ emcee is working with the veteran trailblazer.

Azealia Banks, the NYC rapper who’s rode the track ‘212’ to massive buzz, announced via Twitter today that she is collaborating with pioneering rapper-singer-producer Missy Elliott.

“@MissyElliott and I are working together. Y’all m’fkkahs r SERIOUSLY NOT READY FOR THIS,” Azealia wrote on the social network.

Banks is currently at work on her debut album Broke With Expensive Taste with Adele producer Paul Epworth. That LP is set for a September release.

Elliott, having battled with Graves disease for the past several years, is in the midst of planning a comeback. Her album Block Party, which would be her first release since 2005, is slated for later this year.
