Bangface Weekender have already secured a major coup in the shape of their headliner, the inimitable Aphex Twin.

The September festival have now announced a slew of new names. Dark techno overlord Dave Clarke is the biggest of the bunch. He might have been in the game for knocking two decades, but last year’s Fabric60 mix demonstrated that Mr Clarke has a ready appetite for new music. His set should offer a steely collection of techno old and new. Joining him is A/V mischief-maker DJ Yoda. The man born Duncan Beiny remains one of the UK’s best known turntablists, and his technicolour approach to mixing should get grins twitching on faces.

Planet Mu head µ-Ziq, aka Mike Paradinas, will be running the gamut from tech to juke. Further additions include rave survivors 2 Bad Mice, Warp chap Tim Exile and breakcore pin-up Bong-Ra. Remarc, Bizzy B, Equinox and Hard Crew Heroes round out the new names. The Weekender takes place on September 14-16 at Trevelgue Holiday Park in Newquay, UK.

Ticket details have also emerged about the upcoming Bangface Boat party. On June 22, a merry crew of revellers will be taken on a trip to remember down the River Thames. Tickets go live at 1pm on Saturday 12 May. Further information on both the festival and the boat party is available from the Bangface website.
