On Sunday June 10, BleeD Music will host a selection of acts affiliated with venturesome dance label PAN.

Intimate East London venue The Shacklewell Arms will welcome a number of idiosyncratic names. Sheffield long-timers SND, aka Mark Fell and Mat Steel, are the major draw. Having released records on likes of Mille Plateaux and Raster-Noton, the pair have established themselves as one of the most avant-garde practitioners in contemporary techno. Fresh from the release of this year’s Split LP (with NHK), the experimentalists will be showcasing their famously challenging live sensibilities.

Collaborator NHK will also be making an appearance. Under various aliases, Kouhei Matsunaga has worked with folks as wide-ranging as Merzbow, Anti Pop Consortium, Autechre and Sensational. The ‘NHK’ moniker offers an outlet for his more techno-orientated work, and he should be challenging and compelling in equal measure.

Heatsick, formerly of Birds Of Delay, will have a range of battered keyboards in tow for a live appearance. His woozy, analogue productions provide new insights into the potentialities of loop-based music. Also appearing is Greek collagist Jar Moff, who’ll be exhibiting his kooky scrapbook productions. Casper C and Oli Fay will also be spinning.

Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets and further information area available here.
