Tastemakers, trendsetters and all-round good eggs NTS Radio have a new live venture in the works.

‘Band Practice’ will be a series of live events at Dalston’s new Birthdays venue. The first edition will take place on May 23, and will be headlined by the ever-watchable Damo Suzuki. The flailing, irrepressible Can frontman has remained a fascinating presence well into his autumn years, collaborating with everyone from Broken Social Scene to Tay Zonday.

Temperatures will be serving up a gut-churning helping of off-kilter psych-rock. The combo are loud and riotous, and should slot in well below Mr. Suzuki. NTS jock Paul Camo? will be filling in, and My Panda Shall Fly and Lucie Grace will be on host duty.
