Big Strick will release a new album, Resivoir Dogs [sic], on June 21.

It’s the follow-up to Leonard Strickland’s 2011 debut Detroit Heat, and like that album will come via his own label, 7 Days Ent.. Strick first came to worldwide attention in 2009-10 with a brace of EPs on his cousin Omar-S‘s FXHE label.

Omar-S makes an appearance on Resivoir Dogs, contributing to a track called ‘Family Affair’. Also featured: a 16-year-old member of the Strickland clan going by the name of Generation Next (‘Bloodline’) and Detroit legend Reckless Ron Cook (‘Night Moves’).
