The vintage LateNightTales mix series is set to continue with a contribution from Metronomy’s Joe Mount.

The nebbish electro-pop unit have steadily seem their profile rise in the last four years, with last year’s The English Riviera in particular nudging them towards household name status. As Clash, report, Mount will be flexing his curatorial muscles over with a 20-track mix.

Autechre, Two Lone Swordsmen and Herman Dune all feature. Eccentric hip-hop does well, with Outkast, SA-RA Creative Partners and Dr Octagon all getting nods, and there are folkier cuts from Kate & Anna McGarrigle and Cat Power. The obligatory closing spoken-word bit comes from cultural commentator/blusterer Paul Morley. Metronomy also contribute an exclusive cover version of Jean Michel Jarre’s ‘Hypnose’.
