At the Drive-in’s second album, In/Casino/Out, has been reissued on vinyl.
Recorded live at a period where the Texan band were becoming one of the planet’s most infamous live acts, it’s a rawer and more instinctive-sounding listen than the band’s calling card, 2000’s Relationship of Command, but also still some of the band’s most memorable songs. Relationship of Command is, of course, also due for a reissue, but there’s no sign of it at this point. ATD-i reformed earlier this year for a series of live shows, after spending 11 years out of operation with members focussing on other projects like The Mars Volta.
The vinyl reissue of In/Casino/Out comes limited to 2,000 copies, with colour options including grey and pink splatter. It’s available to pre-order at Fearless (UK customers use this link), with various CD / t-shirt bundles also available.
