One of the most renowned users of the Roland-TR808 drum machine, Los Angeles DJ and producer Egyptian Lover is here captured demonstrating how to make a beat with the box, on the uncut TV version of 1983 documentary (footage for which was filmed around ’81) Breakin’ n’ Enterin’. The VHS version of the film is also available to watch in full here, for those of you with a spare 80 odd minutes.
