Lucy’s Stroboscopic Artefacts label has announced the third instalment in its Stellate series [via Juno Plus].

The series encourages contributors to indulge their (more) experimental sides, making for a heady cocktail of intensely abstract, techno-informed electronic music. Past instalments in the four-part series have featured the likes of sound designers Dadub, purveyors of synth dread Roll The Dice and Sandwell District affiliate Silent Servant.

Stellate 3 will feature contributions from Raster-Noton artist Kangding Ray, Max Loderbauer and Tobias Freund under their NSI alias, techno innovator and Stroboscopic Artefacts stalwart Xhin [pictured] and Reformed Faction, the trio that emerged out of the ashes of the legendary Zoviet France collective. Each artist is invited to contribute two tracks.

The compilation is due for release on September 20, in the now-customary boxset format featuring two clear 10” records in a metallic tin, with hand-numbered artwork inlay by Oblivious Artefacts. It will also be available digitally. Full tracklisting below.
