The 24th season of The Simpsons features Tom Waits, the Decemberists, and Justin Bieber.

Following in the footsteps of U2, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and three quarters of the Beatles, the diverse group of musicians will play themselves on the iconic animated sitcom. The Simpsons returns on September 30.

Waits will introduce Homer to a group of survivalists in “Homer Goes to Prep School” and Bieber will try to get into a talent show on “The Fabulous Faker Boy.” No word on what the Decembrists will do, but Pitchfork shares the above photo of the Pitchfolk band, in animated form.

According to Spin, entertainers reportedly set to appear this season include Zooey Deschanel, Anne Hathaway, Natalie Portman, Fred Armisen, Patton Oswalt, Benedict Cumberbatch, Ed Norton and Steve Carell.
