The REWIRE Festival for Contemporary Culture returns to Den Haag in The Netherlands this November.

Initial line-up announcements for the festival cut across an intriguing range of contemporary scenes and sounds, taking in Brainfeeder-affiliate Nosaj Thing, dark post-industrial stylings from Black Rain and Pete Swanson, and abstract electronic pop from Laurel Halo.

The fresh wave of announcements continues in a similar vein, skimming off the cream from a number of diverse crops. Dreamy Brooklynites DIIV and Young Magic will represent the softer end of the spectrum, while Errors will be in town with their more frenetic synth pop and the creeping dread of Lichens will be on show. House music eccentrics and close affiliates Legowelt and Xosar [pictured] will both perform – the former with a 90-minute DJ set, the latter a live hardware set – while Belgian purveyor of sinister ambience Kreng will lend a darker hue to proceedings.

The festival takes place from November 2-4 in Den Haag, The Netherlands. Tickets are available at the festival’s site.
