Personality: the title of Scuba’s last album, and probably the word used most to describe Jimmy Edgar. 

How appropriate then, that the two should collide for Boiler Room Berlin’s first birthday, where the Hotflush boss and renowned Twitter politician (that’s Scuba) played a back-to-back set with newly-signed Hotflush artist and perennial smut-peddler Edgar. As you’d expect from two residents of the city, it’s a very Berlin sounding session at times, with plenty of paranoid basslines and smeared-out drums. Machinedrum, Portishead (via Edgar’s ‘Machinegun’ edit) and, er, Madonna feature.
