Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival announces initial line-up including Nicolas Jaar, Jackmaster

The fifth annual electronic music festival will take place November 9-10.

One of New York’s richest showcases of genre-defying dance floor talent will be back for its fifth year, with an initial line-up that includes Nicolas Jaar, Gold Panda, Baths, Onra, Photek, Benji B, Jackmaster, Hiawatha and Nick Hook.

“BEMF prides itself on its representation of the elusive but coveted sonic creators that are pushing the boundaries of what new music is and defining what seeps into the mainstream,” says Katie Longmyer of promoter MeanRead. “Brooklyn is emerging as a center point of the international dance music community and we are excited to highlight the unique Brooklyn style and showcase how it is becoming a home of creativity in our favorite community of artists.”

Early bird tickets are on sale now. The festival takes place in the heart of Brooklyn’s night life scene at venues Music Hall of Williamsburg, Brooklyn Bowl, Public Assembly, Glasslands, Cameo and The Villain Loft. A video preview is below.
