The EDM powerhouse gets in the vinyl re-issue game.
Skrillex will reissue his three most recent EPs (Scary Monster & Nice Sprites, More Monsters and Sprites, Bangarang) as a vinyl box set. While Skrillex’s recent efforts haven’t exactly stood the test of time, they have changed the dubstep and EDM landscape. The EPs will be housed in a custom-made hard-shell acrylic case with die cut Skrillex logo, and each is pressed on heavyweight 180-gram vinyl and mastered by renowned engineer Bernie Grundman.
The limited edition sets (available for pre-order now) also include a code for digital download of the 18 EP tracks, plus seven bonus remixes by compatriots Kaskade, Phonat, and Zedd, which are not included on the vinyl. Also included with the set are a 12-page photo booklet of candid and behind-the-scenes images and “a special dedication from Sonny Moore himself.” The individual EPs will also be available as part of Record Store Day’s Black Friday event.
