Hunter S. Thomson and Lil Wayne – in their own way, both masters of the drug-addled travelogue – cross paths in the grin-inducing new video for Dedication 4 cut ‘No Worries’.

Colin Tilley’s short sees Tunechi and friends recreating Terry Gilliam’s subversive 1998 masterpiece Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas scene-for-scene. Singer/producer Detail takes on Benicio Del Toro’s Dr. Gonzo role. The clip sees the merry travellers rolling through Vegas, swatting imaginary bats and making profitable use of a score of post-production effects. [via Pitchfork]

Update: Wayne has also “confirmed” the release date for I Am Not a Human Being 2, the follow-up to one of his better recent mixtapes. Originally promised for release this year, Wayne told MTV that Febuary 19 was the new “official date”. Let’s see.
