The team behind the Pirates of the Caribbean films brings together a bunch of living legends for a compilation album.

Back in 2006, Johnny Depp, Pirates of the Caribbean director Gore Verbinski, and producer Hal Willner brought together Lou Reed, Nick Cave, and Bono to record new versions of old “pirate ballads, sea songs, and chanteys” called Rogue’s Gallery.

The sequel to that album, Son of Rogue’s Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs and Chanteys, is out on Anti- on February 19. The two-disc compilation features some intriguing collaborations, including Tom Waits with Keith Richards, Patti Smith with Johnny Depp, and Courtney Love with Michael Stipe. Swans’ frontman Michael Gira, actress Angelica Huston, and Sissy Bounce duo Katey Red and Big Freedia also appear on the tracklist.
