The NY rap provocateur previews the Fly Zone mixtape.

Produced by the Norwegian duo of Drippin & Souldrop, ‘Coins’ is a percolating, synth-rap track in the style of Mykki Blanco’s ‘Haze Boogie Life’. Le1f is at his lyrical finest, relying on similes (“super like Nintendo NES” and “spread the sheets like Excel”) to make sharp-tongued points. Best of all, his vocals are up in the mix, unlike last year’s breakthrough ‘Wut’.
