How to destroy angels_ share album art, tracklist, and new video for 'How long'

Trent Reznor and company unveil more details about their forthcoming album.

How to destroy angels_ has revealed the cover art for the vinyl edition of Welcome oblivion, along with tracklistings for both the CD and vinyl versions. Pitchfork reports that each formats will have different covers, and that the vinyl version contains two bonus tracks, which are also included on a white label CD that comes with the LP; both formats include a majority of the songs from the band’s An omen_ EP

Accompanying this news is the video for ‘How long?’ the band’s most soulful (and hopeful) song yet. Sticking to the band’s aesthetic, the clip depicts a post-apocalyptic world and is nearly devoid of color, with the noticeable exception of the aboriginal-esque characters’ eerily shining irises. The video was directed by London-based arts collective Shynola, who have previously collaborated with Radiohead, Blur, and Queens of the Stone Age.

One of our most anticipated releases of 2013, Welcome oblivion is due out March 5 via Columbia Records. The band (comprised of Reznor, wife Mariqueen Maandig and collaborators Rob Sheridan and Atticus Ross) will make their live debut at Coachella.
