Eminem’s Shady Films has launched a new six-part YouTube series in collaboration with studio Electus, titled Detroit Rubber. 

Rather than Eminem himself, the series is based around Rick Williams and Rowland Coit, co-owners of a Detroit trainer store named Burn Rubber with more than a hint of Will and Carlton to their relationship. In episode one, Detroit Tigers first baseman Prince Fielder stops by at the store and requests a pair of rare Jordan trainers, released in a one-off edition of 50 shoes to celebrate Eminem’s album Encore. At this point, you can probably guess who steps in to save the day, right?

A new episode of Detroit Rubber will be uploaded every Tuesday.
