The Godfathers of Metal return to the studio for the first time in 35 years.

For the first time since recording 1978′s Never Say Die!, Ozzy Osbourne joined Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler in the studio, as Black Sabbath recorded their first album since 1995’s Forbidden. The trio is rounded out by drummer Brad Wilk (Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave) and legendary career-reviving producer Rick Rubin.

Tentatively titled 13, the album remains slated for a June release through Vertigo Records. The brief clip doesn’t reveal much (other than the fact that Ozzy looks all of his 64 years, and then some), but it seems that there could be further dispatches from the band via their YouTube page.
