Traversable Wormhole to collect 12"s on Traversable Wormhole Vol. 6-10

Sci-fi besotted techno producer Traversable Wormhole is to have his recent work collected on a new compilation for CLR.

Traversable Wormhole first caught notice in 2009 with a five-part series of uncredited white label 12″s, released on the mysterious Traversable Wormhole imprint. The results were varied, ranging from broken beat to foundry 4/4, but all the discs were united by a brittle, dubby sensibility.

The anonymity didn’t last long. By 2010, it was common knowledge that Traversable Wormhole was Brookyln techno veteran Adam X, boss of the Sonic Groove label and industrial techno go-to. Chris Liebing’s CLR subsequently issued a series of remix 12″s, featuring contributions from the likes of Surgeon, Function, James Ruskin and Marcel Dettmann, and all five Traversable Wormhole 12″s were released as a mixed compilation in 2010.

As Resident Advisor report, CLR will repeat the trick next month with Traversable Wormhole Vol. 6-10 . The compilation will collect Traversable Wormhole’s last five 12″ releases, originally issued between 2010 and 2012. Like its predecessor, the collection will run to 10 tracks, and will be mixed by Adam X himself.

Traversable Wormhole Vol. 6-10 is due on April 19.
