Terror Danjah (Hardrive boss, grime veteran) and Champion (Funky pioneer, occasional grime dabbler) are to pool resources on a new 12″ for Hyperdub.

Last week, Terror Danjah announced an auspicious compilation from his Hardrive imprint. Hardrive Presents Hardwired promises new and rare material from the likes of Zed Bias, Bok Bok, Kode9 and Joker. Champion, also repped on Hardwired, is making movements of his own, readying a new release for Shy FX’s Digital Soundboy label.

Hyperdub boss Kode9 has revealed via Twitter that Danjah and Champion will collaborate on a new joint EP in Spring 2013. The collection will arrive in April; in a nod to the FX motorcycle gang show, the EP will be titled Son Of Anarchy. It’s not the first time the two have worked together – Champion helped out on ‘Air Max 90’, taken from Danjah’s 2012 Hyperdub LP The Dark Crawler.

No tracklisting as yet, we’re afraid. As reported, the release will be preceded by Kode9’s long-overdue ‘Xingfu Lu’ single.
