Brit house revivalist Neville Watson re-interprets Chicago and Detroit’s glory days with his first full-length.

Taking cues from Carl Craig and Larry Heard, Watson has pieced together a record jam packed with the kind of soulful, measured electronics we haven’t heard in way too long. House albums are still a bit of a touchy subject for most people, so it’s no surprise it’s taken the producer a while to put one together, but from the sounds of Songs to Elevate Pure Hearts Watson has taken the right track blending subtle beatless experiments with the chunkier dancefloor burners he’s better known for.

Songs to Elevate Pure Hearts will be released on May 27 on 2LP and digital via Creme Organization.
